I was checking out some of my different friends blogs and all of the great information that is out there. I thought that you might also like to see their take on fitness and weight loss, so I compiled a list of my favorites. Let me know of other blogs that you like so I can go and check them out also.
Here they are:
1) Fitness Black Book: This is Rusty Moore’s site and is by far one of the best fitness blogs out there. If you haven’t yet, you should really check it out because Rusty really knows his stuff! He also has an amazing product called “Visual Impact“, which is the best that I have ever seen when it comes to getting the lean, Holloywood look that is so popular today. This is definitely not for the hardcore steroid heads, unless they are looking to come over from the dark side.
2) Mark Daily Apple: Mark Sisson is the owner of this great blog and he also is the author of “The Primal Blueprint” book. Mark has a unique angle at teaching people the proper way to eat to achieve optimal health and fitness. Mark’s blog has an incredible amount of information and his posts are usually a little humorous as well, which fits my personality perfectly.
3) Brad Pilon: Brad is the creator of my favorite diet solution, Eat-Stop-Eat. His blog talks about Eat-Stop-Eat and intermittent fasting as a way to lose weight and finally get off the diet cycle. If you have read much of my posts, then you already know what a big fan I am of Eat-Stop-Eat. You should check it out because you can definitely learn an incredible amount of information from Brad. He actually worked for a supplement company for years and will tell it to you straight about what works and what doesn’t with supplements. I’ll give you a hint, hardly nothing works, save your money!
4) Craig Ballantyne’s TTfatloss.com: This is Craigs blog about turbulence training, which has a bunch of incredible fat burning workouts, bodyweight workouts, and HIIT workouts. Craig is one of th best out there and all of his material is top knotch. Whether you are a guy or a girl, Craig will have some great advice and information for you. You can even get a free report on the darkside of cardio. Ooh, sounds scary!
5) Not Your Average Fitness Tips: This blog is run by my friend Dave, who is a regular guy like me, but has an incredible amount of information on his blog and updates it regularly. You can tell how passionate that he is about fitness and health just by reading any one of his posts. I think I like his blog so much, because we have a lot of similar opinions on fitness. I guess brilliant minds think alike!
6) Zenmyfitness: This blog is from another one of my good friends, Raymond. This guy is over 40 like me, but in awesome shape! You need to check out the picture on the bottom of his “About” page. This guy is ripped to the bone at 47! Like I always say, over thirty doesn’t have to mean overweight and this guy is living proof! Raymond has some really unique angles on fitness, not only for the body, but for the mind as well. His content ranges from bodybuilding, to MMA fighting, to Yoga, to nutrition. He has some stuff that you just aren’t going to find on many other fitness blogs!
[Here's a video from Raymond that not only shows a sample MMA core workout, it also rocks out to Judas Priest. What more could you ask for?]
7)Lean Mean Virile Machine: This blog is from a great guy named, Darrin, with a bunch of cool ideas on fitness. Like me, he likes to experiment on himself and then writes about the results. This way he writes about what he knows is true for him, not what he read in a book somewhere. He also writes a lot about cooking and food, which is a big help for people that don’t really cook much. Darrin is also a great friend and will go out of his way to give as much information as he can to his readers!
Relative Strength Advantage: This blog is from my friend Yavor. I couldn’t get it to show an eight on the list, instead it just has this cool guy with sunglasses. This is fine though, because Yavor is a cool dude! Yavor’s blog has a ton of information about different exercises as well as videos on how to do them correctly. He always has a bunch of interesting posts and is the go to guy for different workouts and exercises that you may of never even heard of. Yavor has been around for awhile and definitely knows his stuff. You should check him out because you will always learn something new from him everytime you visit his blog!
9) Fitness Breakout: Alykhan Gulamali runs this blog. He is a regular guy, not a trainer, dietician, or professional fitness model. In fact, I think he works in an office all day! He just tells it like it is and talks about what has worked for him. What I like about his blog is that it isn’t fake. He doesn’t try to be something that he isn’t or act like a know it all with all of the answers. Don’t get me wrong, this guy really knows what he is talking about, he just has a fresh way of presenting it that I think most people can relate to.
10) I don’t have a number ten. Top ten lists are boring anyways and I don’t look anything like David Letterman! In reality there are many other great blogs that could of made this list. I hope I don’t make anyone mad that aren’t on here, but I only had nine spaces to fill!
Okay, there you have it. A bunch of great sites with a ton of information for you. Just don’t forget about me though, please!

Kelly,
Thanks for the shout out, I really appreciate it! I read all of these blogs as well as yours regularly and the information is excellent. I think reading blogs is a great way for regular everyday people to take in fitness advice because they are easier to relate to than advice from a celebrity or professional athlete, for example. To you and everyone else, the sites are looking awesome. Keep up the great work!

Kelly,
I’m humbled to be in the list of you favorite sites. Thanks for being a dedicated reader!
This year we have formed a little fitness blogging mastermind which makes this whole journey more fun and fulfilling for all of us. Love the new look of the blog by the way!.
Now I’d add a few more sites from my rss reader:
1. Craig Avera @ hollywoodbodyfitness.com. Craig is an actor lwokring towards his dream of making it in hollywood. He shares his strategies of getting a ripoped body. He was also in Rusty’s case study last year.
2. John Barban @ johnbarban.com – he’s got great no-nonesne post on diet/muscle gaining topics.
3. Drew Greene @ fitexcellence.com – he’s a member of our mastermind and shares tips that work for him to stay ripped.
Kelly,
I am truly honored to mentioned in the same breath as all these other cool cats! I would like to throw my full endorsement for each and every one of your choices. Oftentimes it’s easy to just sit back and be a spectator, but the most satisfaction you can ever get out of life is by contributing, giving back, and making it your mission to make a positive impact in the world. And I can attest that all these gentlemen are doing just that (and that means you too, dude!)

Excellent review of all those sites, it’s better than hanging out in the library!
But those first 4 blogs I know offer extremely wellknown & powerful information for body transformation, I would urge anybody to review those sites if you are interested in gaining a hot looking lean hollywood body that stands out.
And man what an excellent looking web site love the theme, really kicks up a level.
Thanks for the review

Kelly,
The list is full of excellent fitness blogs and I’m proud to have made it. As you say, we have a lot in common and I’d list all of the same blogs among my favorites…of course including yours as well. Definitely liking the new look of the website too!
Dave
Alykhan,
No problem, my friend. They all are great blogs, including yours. It is great to see so many different opinions and angles for fitness. I can’t wait to see how everyone is doing as the months and years go by. I think that the ones that are passionate about fitness and enjoy writing about it are going to be around for the long haul!
Yavor,
You make it easy to be a follower of your site with all of the great information on it! I really like Craigs and John Barban sites also. I am a loyal eat-stop-eat fanatic, so I found out about John and the Adonis Index through Brad Pilon. It is amazing how much great information is out there! I plan on trying other workouts from these guys so I can write about them, but for know I am sticking with Rusty’s Visual Impact. I like to try stuff out before I market it. That’s why it has been so easy to compliment Rusty’s stuff and Eat stop eat, because they both work so well!
I am amazed at what a great community this mastermind group has become. I look forward to all of us getting together some time down the road over a beer, saying “Remember when we just started out and now look at how far we’ve come!”
Darrin,
Thanks. I read years ago from Zig Ziglar, that you can get whatever you want in life as long as you help enough other people get what they want. You are definitely doing that with your blog and I try to keep that thought in mind as well.
As much as we try and find relevant topics or keywords that may rank well and all of that. I think sometimes we need to just forget about all of that and just write about what is on our minds and what we think may help other people out. If we do that, I think the traffic and followers will come. I look forward to following you on your path to greatness, as well as the rest of these guys!
Raymond,
Thanks! I really thought my other theme was pretty lame and was looking for something a little grungier. I’m glad you like it, I have been getting a lot of nice remarks about it. I just love your site and your angle on fitness as a whole, so I had to add you on the list! The only difference between your site and someone like Rusty’s or some of the other high traffic blogs is time. I’m sure next year at this time, we will be amazed at how far we have come. I think with Rusty on our side, it is inevitable for all of us.
Dave,
You got some great stuff on your blog and I always check it out. I definitely wasn’t going to leave it off the list! Thanks, I really like the new design too! It’s a little rough around the edges, like me!
