Intermittent fasting, gotta love it!

Hey My friends! I have a few things that I want to update you guys on with my intermittent fasting case study.

I completed two weeks of this case study and tomorrow will start the third week. I had an interesting week with the Superbowl and I had a good friend come in from Sarasota, Fla. for one day. These two events put a little bit of a damper on my fasting, which is perfect for this intermittent fasting case study.

I planned on fasting on Monday and Friday again, like I did last week. That didn’t happen on Monday, since I usually fast from after dinner Sunday until dinner on Monday. I ate a bunch of stuff for the Superbowl and ate a lot later than my usual 5:30 or 6:00 pm dinner. Instead of worrying about it, I just shit canned the Monday fast and figured I would fast on Wednesday. Well that didn’t happen either because my friend Bill came in town just for one night and we ate and drank a few until midnight.  icon smile Intermittent Fasting Case Study Update And Running in 14 Degree Weather

My first thought was that I better not do that because of this case study. I later came to the conclusion that this is actually perfect for this case study. I have been preaching to you guys about the flexibility of intermittent fasting and how you don’t want to turn it in to a diet, right?

Well, this past week is a great example.

Hey intermittent fasting Peeps! I wanted to touch base with everyone and thank you guys for all of the comments and emails. I see that I have hit upon something here that is going to help a lot of people. I was amazed on Monday when I saw all of the emails from people asking questions and commenting on my intermittent fasting case study.

First off, here is a quick update with me.

I have officially completed two intermittent fasts this week and so far. . . so good.

I fasted on Monday and Friday for around 22 to 23 hours each time. Just like before, it was pretty easy to stick with once I set my mind to it. I ate and drank nothing with calories during each fast. Just some water and I had one Diet Coke each day.

I started this recent case study on Sunday night at 181.2 lbs. Below, I listed my body weight each morning and as you can see, I am on the right path. A couple pounds a week is a good rate. [click to continue…]
